Patrona Bavaria and Lion

Did you know?

The Bavaria (Latin for Bavaria) is the female symbolic figure and secular patron saint of Bavaria and appears as a personified allegory for the state of Bavaria in various forms and manifestations.

Our Bavaria corresponds to the bronze statue on Theresienwiese in Munich, which was commissioned by King Ludwig I and realised by architect Leo von Klenze (designs), sculptor Ludwig Schwanthaler (designs and model construction) and the metal casters Johann Baptist Stiglmaier and his nephew Ferdinant von Miller from 1843 to 1850.
It was the first colossal bronze statue to be built since ancient times and thus represents a technical masterpiece.

As Munich-based artists who specialise in, among other things, the construction and performance of extraordinary costumes, we are delighted to present our Bavaria (on stilts) with lion.

An eye-catcher and photo opportunity – unique and unmissable.

Can also be booked in combination with the “Münchner Kindl”.

A unique Bavarian walking act on stilts.
